The 44th Street Steakhouse

Steak 44 Wet aged perfection Steak House · Arcadia · $$$$ "Steak 44 is the standard of which all steakhouses are measured" Intro   Steak 44 is the brain child of Michael and Jeff Mastro pioneers of the upscale steakhouse.  Steak 44 opened in 2014 just shortly after Dominics and post Mastro’s. Each one of their steakhouses has unique style and decor.  One common theme, amazing steaks, sides and service.     Steak 44 is the standard of which all steakhouses are measured. At any given night you might see Arizona Governor Doug Ducey or athlete's from the Suns training center across the street.  Steak 44 is where you will see the who's who.    Upon entering you will find a wall of butcher meat cleavers and a hostess eager to seat you.  As the hostess seats you its hard not to gaze at the beautiful  bar area.  The decor really represents the Arcadia area and the service is very professional yet laid back, not stuffy at all. Ordered   For starters the bread, freshly baked with parmesan spread.  My wife and I shared the chopped salad, ordered the bone-in Filet 18oz and 8oz petite.  I ordered my bone-in filet blue cheese crusted, absolute perfection.  The wet aged filet is cooked to perfection and very flavorful. We also ordered a side corn crème brûlée delicious mashed potatoes.  If nothing else the corn crème brûlée is one of the most amazing tasting sides you will ever experience!  When it comes to dessert, there ares no bad choices!  Classic and must try is the warm vanilla caramel cake. L.A. meets the Biltmore

Flint by Baltaire Wood fired elegance Wood Fired · Biltmore Phoenix · $$$ " While gazing around Inside you see more beauty with a very open dining area, small boutique bar and open kitchen with wood fire oven" Intro When you first pull into Flint by Baltaire at the Biltmore you notice a beautiful two story open top modern structure which invites you to come inside and see more.  Upon entering you are professionally greeted by the hostess. While gazing around Inside you see more beauty with a very open dining area, small boutique bar and open kitchen with wood fire oven. Noise levels can be moderate. Ordered The wait staff is very professional and attentive, initially glossing over the menu you will quickly realize that wood fired is the main theme.  For starters we tried the Hummus with Short-Rib and shared The Flint Chopped Salad.  I’m personally not a fan of hummus but it was very tasty in small doses.  The Flint Chopped Salad was very green and tasted especially the chickpeas. For the main course I ordered the 8oz Fillet with steak sauce, Truffle butter and Yukon gold potatoes.  WOW, what flavor!  The steak was cooked to perfection and the quality is what you would expect for a $48 steak.  My wife got the Margarita pizza with organic tomatoes, fresh basil and hand pulled mozzarella.  The sauce is zesty and basil is prominent and that crust though!   On a second visit I tried the Flint Burger, fresh ground chuck, smoked bacon jam and white cheddar on a poppy seed bun.  WOW, one of the best juicy burgers I had in a while. Completed with seasoned fries were the perfect touch! Previous Next Need Luxury Transportation? Book Luxe 48 Now
